My vision is to give hope to those who silently struggle with unwanted same sex attraction and/or social anxiety and cannot speak up for themselves.  I want to give them hope that there is victory for them when they put their trust and faith in Jesus Christ.  Not religion, but the true living Jesus full of power.  Some cannot speak up about their battles for whatever reason or are afraid to.  I aim to encourage and build them up with testimony and truths from God's word.  The Gospel is not a matter of talk but of power.  Supernatural power is available through Jesus Christ to transform anyone into a new creation, I am a witness of this and want to help others as much as I can.

Christian lover of the world, REPENT!

Christ is returning soon and the church is filled with those who claim to love Jesus but are living in sexual immorality, sexual perversion, sexual relations outside of the marriage covenant, committing mental adultery daily, and all this believing that they can get away with their sins and be rescued when Jesus returns.

In loving warning, I tell you, repent and turn away from your sins.  Paul, our brother in Christ, forewarned us to live pure and clean lives for Christ and not in adulteries, fornications, immorality and the lusts of this world.

I wrote this newsletter in 2014 and what I see today in the churches and society seems all the more urgent.  If you are reading this and this describes you, REPENT, TURN BACK TO GOD and WALK IN HIS WAYS and ESCAPE the coming Judgment.

Time for Clean hands and a pure heart

Revelation 2:18

18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write,

‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: 19 “I know your works, love, service, faith,[b] and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. 20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow[c] that woman[d] Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce[e] My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.[f] 22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their[g] deeds. 23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

24 “Now to you I say, and[h] to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will[i] put on you no other burden. 25 But hold fast what you have till I come. 26 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—

27 ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron;

They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’[j]—

as I also have received from My Father; 28 and I will give him the morning star.

29 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’

Okay there is a lot in here that I need to grasp and understand but v. 23 alone makes me fear. Regardless if i understand it all or not, God says He will Judge the minds and hearts of people and that the churches will know that He is the one who is judging and will give to each according to their deeds (fruit)?.

This is a call to seek purity of heart and mind before it's too late.

This spirit of Jezebel is seducing the saints into sexual immorality and to eat things sacrificed to idols. V. 22 says that unless they repent of their or HER deeds, repent of adultery, that God will kill her children. who are HER children?? I'm not certain. Is it a generation that believes sexual immorality is okay? will they be left behind after rapture to suffer mystery babylon's destruction? the up and coming harlot church? im not sure. it doesn't say our children, it says HER children. The children of the doctrine of immorality and perversion.

Romans 8:6 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

to be carnally minded is death. I think we have taken this too lightly and not seriously enough. Making excuses for our thoughts and what lingers in our hearts. I think the time will come that the fear of the Lord will have to be restored. how will it come, how will the fear of the Lord be restored to the churches?? Is a major obvious judgment coming to the churches to cause death and the believes will know that it is God who is judging and executing judgment?

Aids came out of nowhere. with the promotion of homosexuality in the churches will there be a new plague that will come about through homosexuals in the churches? a new strain of disease to hit their churches full of homosexuals?

The Holy Spirit was lied to by Annanias and Saphira and they dropped dead and the church heard about it and feared.

Acts 5:11 So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things. 2 And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch. 13 Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly. 14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. 16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

So fear of the Lord spread in the region and the church was set right before the Lord. The fear was so great that none of the rest dared join them....

We have people of all walks joining in the churches these days, as a nice country club, good place to be or invade for whatever reason other than because they are true believers. they join us without regard that we serve a HOLY God that meets with us. It is a worthless thing to them. so If this going to happen, is there going to be such fear of God that no one will dare join the churches just to join but only those who are true believers in Jesus Christ who honor God and Fear the Lord??

maybe. The true church must be cleansed somehow to reveal the true sons/daughter so the Most high God. Real light. not light mixed with darkness. God must purify His church somehow in the days to come. Persecution? perhaps. or plague?.. .we saw persecution in the early church and death for lying to the Holy Spirit. Intense Fear of God and persecution. it was the ultimate purification going on.

When the 2 witnesses appear and are resurrected and a great earthquake kills 7000, it says that the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven. rev. 11:13

Psalm 119:113-120

I hate the double-minded,

But I love Your law.

114 You are my hiding place and my shield;

I hope in Your word.

115 Depart from me, you evildoers,

For I will keep the commandments of my God!

116 Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live;

And do not let me be ashamed of my hope.

117 Hold me up, and I shall be safe,

And I shall observe Your statutes continually.

118 You reject all those who stray from Your statutes,

For their deceit is falsehood.

119 You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross;

Therefore I love Your testimonies.

120 My flesh trembles for fear of You,

And I am afraid of Your judgments.

David trembled at the judgments of the Lord and he walked in the fear of the Lord.

Paul says we have examples of God's judgments and that we are to heed them and pay attention.

Those in the wilderness took liberty in lusting, being idolaters, committing sexual immorality and in one day God's Judgment fell and 23,000 people died. Many tempted Jesus and were destroyed. Complained and were destroyed. It was all examples for us to follow and heed.

1 Cor. 10: 5 But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness. 6 Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. 7 And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”[a] 8 Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell; 9 nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents; 10 nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer. 11 Now all[b] these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

I have sensed that the Lord is showing me from Revelation 2 mostly, that some type of Judgment is coming to the churches. It very clearly says in v. 22 that those who commit adultery in the churches will go through the great tribulation. will they be left behind and know it because of their adultery? But what adultery is the word referring to? Is it only physical adulterers?

God says and then the churches will know that He is the one who searches the hearts and minds in v. 23. and gives to each one according to their works/deeds.

the word "minds" in v. 23 is actually kidney or the inmost mind. God judges an inmost mental adultery and the heart. Jesus said,

Matthew 5:28 - 8 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman (or man) to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

I am suspecting that those with adultery in their hearts are not going to get away with it and God will punish them. He punishes their(HER) children (children as in the upcoming apostasy church??) and leaves these "believers" in the great tribulation. I suspect that many in the church are struggling with adultery at heart and mind and this is a warning to the churches of what is to come.

The Spirit of lust is all around us in various forms and seems to consume this nation and culture.

So questions...

Is there biblical example for God judging hearts and minds and punishing?

God judged King David for adultery and murder and Judgment was death to his son and turmoil in his family line from that point on..

God made Pharoahs heart harder and Judgements fell upon him, his house and all of Egypt (his children in a sense of the generation that would be next to rule).

John 9:2 who sinned this man or his parents?

this verse tells me that it wasn't off the wall to think that someone was punished because of their parents sins, or their own of course.

Is it like God to punish before the appointed time? yes.

Annanias and Saphira are an example of punishment for lying to the Holy Spirit. Gods word and Paul continuously warn to not lie to one another but to love one another and speak truth because we are of one body. how can you lie to your own body? you can't its all connected by the Spirit of God as one. One Spirit, one body. To be united instead of lying to one another and divided. having integrity, confessing, exposing darkness and continuing on in brotherly/sisterly love forgiving, protecting and continuing in fellowship of the Love of Christ Jesus. A pure love.

Learn what it means to love one another. Ask for more pure love for the true body of Jesus.

We already know that adulterers will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 9 DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT THE UNRIGHTEOUS WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, NOR ADULTERERS, nor homosexuals,[a] nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

(Physical or mental) Adultery among the church and body of Christ ?

1 THESSOLONIANS 4 - strongly warns especially against believers lusting after other believers, that God will AVENGE (punish) for that type of forbidden coveting, sexual immorality.

Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

2 For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother (or sister) in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, AS WE ALSO HAVE FOREWARNED YOU and testified.

7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

10 And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;

v. 5 concupiscence - means a longing, especially for what is forbidden

v. 6 defraud - means to be covetous by implication - to over reach

v. 6 avenger- means punisher

Why is Paul FOREWARNING us, the church? because it will be punished at some point for those things.

Deut 30:19 - 19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

There is hope for this person though. if we hear with ears to hear and eyes to see what the Lord is forewarning us about, then we will repent, cry out for God to cleanse our hands and purify our hearts and change us and escape this coming judgment upon the churches.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

plagues (play-gay') -a stroke; by implication, a wound; figuratively, a calamity

The spirit of fear

Posted by on August 20, 2016 at 10:45 PM Comments comments (0)

Hi friends,

I'd like to address something that I'm seeing more and more.  Obviously, there is a lot of fear in our world today.  Fear of terrorism, fear of zika, fear of natural disasters, fear of governments and leaders.  Fear is on every side but there is a different fear that I am finding more and more, the spirit of fear and the attack on our mind.

I'm finding a lot of individuals that are struggling with fears that are not ancored in truth.  I myself have struggled with this fear having social anxiety.  That fear that grips you and makes you panic, even though there is no danger or reality to what you fear will happen.  Sometimes, it's simply a fear that comes upon you to terrorize you and you have no idea why.

There are many young people especially that I am seeing struggle with this.  I consult them and pray but it seems the fear is too strong in their mind.  I can relate, I know the terror of dealing with social anxiety before people but as i've trusted the Lord over the years, the fear has been more and more conquered.

I believe we need to continue in the truth, even though the lies want to knock us off the road of truth.  Sometimes the lies are so loud and realistic that we find ourselves defenseless.  But we have hope.  The Bible tells us the truth and if we will grab hold of it and not let go, we will eventually begin to renew our mind and be ancored in that truth.

Satan is playing with our minds in this generation but He who is in you, is more powerful than He who is in the world.  …

3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and is already in the world at this time. 4You, little children, are from God and have overcome them, because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. - 1 John 4:4

The ages range actually, from old to very young.  Believers, you must stand on the Word to get through this mental battle against the enemy of your soul.  Use the sword that the Lord has given you and rise up in Truth.  That sword is the Word of God, the Bible.

I recently had a battle with strong fear and I had to get into God's word and read and seek Him over and over and over again.  Everyday.  My mind eventually began to mold to the truth and the fear leave me, even though it still tries to overtake me.  The Lord showed me that the enemy uses loud threatening tactics but they are empty against God's people.  We must learn to do spiritual warfare with God's word because im convinced, the battle might just increase on earth as our enemy sees his end coming soon.

Stand firm.

7Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 8Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.… 1 Peter 5:8

No matter what you are going through, Jesus knows.  He knows your name and everything about you. There is nothing he can't fix.  Many times, I thought i was unfixable but since God created us, He alone can fix us when we are broken.  There is hope.  Call out to Him right now, He knows your name.  Cry out to Jesus, He will catch you.

Strongholds & Freedom

Posted by on July 4, 2016 at 4:40 PM Comments comments (0)

In my battle with same sex attraction for over 40 years, there were some mental patters that formed early on and became strongholds that later even as a Christian, I could not break.  No matter how hard I tried I could not get free from specific strongholds in my mind and heart.

I would describe a stronghold as a pattern withinthat becomes a strong fortress that one needs to demolish to be set free from its power over your mind, heart and soul.

For me, those strongholds were covetousness, idolatry and an adulterous heart.  All of which are listed in 1 Corinthians 6-9:11 as conditions that will keep us from inheriting the Kingdom of Heaven.  I read the scripture many times and knew I struggled but I didn't know how to get free.  It got more worrisome for me and I kept praying for God to help me overcome these strongholds... but nothing happened.

Until I entered a spiritual storm.  I went through a season of intense fear, anxiety and panic and I could not get out of that dark cloud.  It was intense and the confusion I felt within it kept me from seeing clearly or even hearing God clearly.  I was caught in this darkness and confusion and I didn't understand why or where it came from.  It was a difficult season but I now understand that God uses these seasons of trouble in our lives to purify us, cleanse us and deliver us.  Something happend within that storm in my life that at the end of it all, I was set free from the above strongholds.

While I was in this dark, confusing storm, all I knew to do was cling to Jesus.  I read my Bible, prayed often and worshiped almost constantly.  To be honest, I am still picking the pieces up from that storm and making sense of it all but I know this, Jesus set me free on the other side of that storm.

I never thought I would be free from covetous ways, from an adulterous heart or idolatry that seemed to be seared into my mind and heart.  But He did it.  He set me free.

No more are the covetous desires of wanting.  The idolatry of seeing what I wanted in my mind and heart and almost worshiping those images of my ungodly desires.  No more the guilt of struggling with an adulterous heart and its poison to my marriage.  I no longer want what is forbidden because Jesus has given me something greater, FREEDOM from chains and mental prisons.   The guilt, shame and self condemnation of those ways are gone.  Who the son sets free IS free indeed.

Jesus says that when I became a believer in Him, He set me free from the old self.  I was baptised into Christ and He has made me a new creation.  I never want to be the old self again with those old longings that only brought me frustration and discontent days.

God is good.  Now that He has done the work of freeing me, I work with the Holy Spirit to stay free.  We must be aware that we have an enemy that wants to enslave us again to our old ways.  I am careful about what my eyes see, what my mind thinks about and what I listen to.  We must guard our heart and mind in Jesus Christ.  I think a lot about the things of heaven and His word.  I think about Jesus and anything that is pleasing to Him.

I cannot tell you how huge it has been for me that those strongholds are broken and are no longer chains that drag me deeper into same sex attraction.  My struggle with same sex attraction has gone from something to nothing because of the work of God in my life.  God loves us, is so faithful and has a plan of victory for each believer.  Let's persevere.  Never let Jesus go, no matter how fierce the storm or battle gets there is hope on the other side.

Are transgender issues mentioned in the Bible?

Posted by on June 23, 2016 at 6:40 PM Comments comments (0)

I've heard quite a few people at this point claim that the Bible does not talk specifically about transgender issues and I have heard some pastors attempt to explain it from the scriptures in a very applicable manner but I have yet to hear reference to the scripture that I personally believe tells the truth on transgender living.

This scripture is from Revelation 22:14-16 NLT

14 Blessed are those who wash their robes. They will be permitted to enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life. 15 Outside the city are the dogs—the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie.  16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the source of David and the heir to his throne.[a] I am the bright morning star.”

This is the word of God, not my made up words.  This is the Lord Jesus Christ giving strong warning to all who He foreknew would read His word.  I see it as mercy that He tells us ahead of time who will not be permitted to enter the gates of the city of heaven and if your reading this you are alive and well to change your path in life. In this description we should all take heed not to live lives in sorcery, sexual immorality, murdering, idol worshipping (of which I was guilty), and lastly ALL WHO LOVE TO LIVE A LIE.

It's interesting that those that say that they are now free to live truth because they have attempted to change their gender to fit their desires, are actually living a lie according to God's word.

I know from experience that we can be caught up in living a lie.  It doesn't have to be evident to anyone, the only one it IS clear and evident to is your maker, God the creator of all.

Jesus says to us, blessed are those who wash their robes!!!!  how do we wash our robes?  In receiving Him as our salvation, repenting of our sins and living as the word teaches us to.  God's word tells us the truth.  Our emotions, desires and feeling DO NOT.

Those within the church who decide to live as transgenders are living a lie, you can change all that you were born with to fit your desires, feelings and emotions but the truth is that you were born as God made you to be.  It is our minds that need to be renewed to align ourselves with God's word, not the other way around.  We do not remake ourselves physically and then apply whatever we see fit from God's word to make us feel better.

Notice what Jesus said, “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches.

To those in the churches, we have the answer to the transgender issue for those struggling within our churches.  We are to wear the belt of truth, we are to be truthful to one another, we are to walk in the spirit of truth!  We are NOT to live a lie or encourage anyone to live a lie.

I know it must be very difficult.  As one who struggled with my desires of same sex attraction while being a Christian, I understand the strong pull and battle against thoe desires but what good is it if we find our "happy" place here on earth, deceive ourselves and sell our souls in the process, never making it to heaven for all eternity.

Now, to those outside of the churches who do not know Christ, have compassion on them.  If they do not know Christ personally, they do not walk with Him in relationship and they are blinded to the truth and light.  Be patient, loving and kind with them.  Lead them to taste and see that the Lord is good.

There is a story from a woman in England who attempted to make herself a man on the outside to fit her internal desires.  She mutilated her body to conform it, played the part and still found misery.  She ended up taking her life..  This breaks my heart because I know how it feels to want to feel right within yourself, outside and in and not be able to grasp it.

We must share Jesus and point to the HOPE in Christ and joy of knowing Him to the lost.  But to those in the churches, do not be deceived, we have the truth and know that satan is the father of lies and deception.  I suggest that you find a genuine believer in Christ and confess your struggle to that person so that they may pray with you and help you.

I wish I could walk this out with each and every one of you, pray, hold and comfort you that there is hope.  It might be a fight and it might be painful at first but if you turn to Jesus and surrender it all to Him, I promise you, He will NOT leave you empty and alone.

Don't choose to live a lie.  Choose Jesus and live in TRUTH and real FREEDOM.

If you are struggling, please email me, I would love to keep you in prayer and encourage you.

Jesus and the prostitute

Posted by on May 31, 2016 at 10:50 PM Comments comments (0)

She was on her way and I had no preparation or idea what I would say to this woman.  I was about to meet a prostitute who was in very upset over a large tumor that had developed on her neck. The doctors told her it was most likely cancer.  My sister who knew her, was bringing her to me so that I could pray for her and tell her about Jesus.

I think her name was Maria so we'll refer to her as that even though I'm not certain.

They finally arrived and we decided to take Maria to breakfast so that I could share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with her.  I did my best with my broken spanish, she seemed to understand and seemed open to hearing about Him though.  When we finished we went to my sister's car and I asked Maria If I could pray for her.  She said yes.  As I prayed, I put my hand on the tumor and asked Jesus to heal her.  When I finished, she told me she felt something there but wasn't sure how to explain it.  I told her it was the power of God.

And so Maria went her way and I went mine.  Days later, I heard that Maria was healed of the tumor!  It was gone.  Jesus had healed her and years later, I heard that Maria had become a fired up believer in Jesus Christ...

What is greater, healing or salvation?  Salvation of course.  The body being healed is temporary.  I'm glad Maria's tumor left but I'm even more happy that she gave her life to Jesus!  The soul is greater than the physical body.  Salvation of your soul is much greater.

Maria was transformed by Jesus.  She went from prostitute to healed and telling people about Jesus.  She became a daughter of the living God that day.

There is power in the name of Jesus, there is salvation in Jesus and what Maria received that day you can receive too.  With God all things are possible, remember that.

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never turn away.  John 6:37

Jesus saves healings for God's glory

Posted by on May 30, 2016 at 9:10 PM Comments comments (0)

It was a very cold English morning and I was waiting for my son in the school playground.  I was freezing and put on anything I could find just to go pick him up and run back home again.  It was a day I wasn't in a talkative mood.  So I stood there, waiting.  Soon, my friend came around the corner and was noticeably hopping along on one foot.  What in the world is wrong I asked her.  She said her foot had been in severe pain and she could not even put her foot down to touch the ground because of the excruciating pain.  The doctors wanted to perform surgery to fix it and she was not happy about it.

As I stood there listening to her, the Holy Spirit nudged me to pray for her.  I have to admit that at first I didn't want to, not there, there were so many athiest parents at that school and they'd see me praying and I wasn't comfortable plus I wasn't sure what my friend's beliefs were either.  But he nudged me again, pray for her.

So I said, "hey so I've been part of a healing ministry with a group from a church and we pray for healing..."  As soon as I finished the sentence she said, "Yes! will you pray for me!"

I said, uh okay.. part of me couldn't believe she actually wanted prayer!

She continued on to ask if I would pray right there and then in the middle of the playground for her foot.  Again, I hate to admit it but I felt akward, but I said yes and I sqatted down, put my hand on her foot and said, "Jesus please heal her foot" and I shot back up.  I'm not sure if that was considered a prayer even.  When I looked around, the playground was full of parents.  She was so thankful.  As soon as my son came over and we all said goodbye and I left and she hopped along.

What I didn't expect was her phone call that night.  She called to tell me she was completely healed!!  She was really shocked.. as I was.  Her foot began to heal as we left each other earlier in the day.  She kept saying that I healed it as if with some sort of mystical power.  I told her I cant heal a fly, that it was the name and power of Jesus.  He was there nudging me to pray for her and He obviously wanted her healed that day.  Why?  well, the next few days I was able to share the Gospel with her and she ended going back to church and her faith was sparked again.  All from Jesus healing her.

As the title of this blog says, sometimes Jesus saves healings for God's glory.  He told us this in the story of Mary, Martha and Lazarus, his dear friends.  Lazarus was sick and dying and the sisters had sent word to Jesus.  Everyone was worried, the sisters requested that Jesus hurry up and come see him but Jesus did not. He took his time and He said this instead,

“Lazarus’s sickness will not end in death. No, it happened for the glory of God so that the Son of God will receive glory from this.” 5 So although Jesus loved Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, 6 he stayed where he was for the next two days. John 11:4

They finally got word that Lazarus had died.  Everyone was very sad and Jesus finally said lets head over to them.  When Jesus got there, everyone was crying and in mourning.  Lazarus sisters told Jesus if He had been there that Lazarus would not have died.  But Jesus knew that this was a chance for a miracle, a chance for people to see God's glory and mighty power to save and heal.

After Lazarus was dead for 4 days, Jesus went to the tomb.  He said this to Mary, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?

He prayed and called out to Lazarus and Lazarus came out of the tomb, ALIVE!  (See the full story in John 11)

The result of that miracle was that many people then believed in Jesus as the son of God and there is no going to heaven for anyone without faith in the son of God.

In John 9, Jesus healed a blind man as well and when they first saw the blind man, his disciples asked Jesus who had sinned the man or the man's parents to cause his blindness.  Jesus had a similar answer, "It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him.

As with my friend, some healings are there for us to unlock and show the glory of God and the power of Jesus name.  May we who believe in Jesus Christ have the boldness to keep praying and seeking out glory healings and miracles for the glory of God to be witnessed by all!

After much prompting by the Holy Spirit and an opportunity, I said yes to the invitation to speak.  I would be sharing my testimony with high school kids about having victory over same sex attraction through Jesus Christ.  It was the first time I would be openly sharing with a group on this topic and I was scared!  For some years I had known that God wanted me to start sharing my testimony, especially with youth and I finally got the opportunity and the courage to speak.  God connected me with a friend who wanted me to share with some high school age kids.

I weeks practicing what to say!  I was so nervous about speaking on this topic because I had to share something very deeply personal.  But God wanted me to and I was trying to be obedient best I could.

I spent weeks/days in prayer.   When the day came to share with them, I was home praying again asking for courage to speak and share this personal story.  I wanted to say so much!  At the same time, social anxiety is always reminding me that I can't speak in front of people but God always reminds me, I am with you and will never leave you.  So I go!  and hallelujah I haven't passed out yet  :D  I love Jesus! He's awesome.

So I met with the group and shared my testimony, with much trembling as Paul said.  I could hear my voice shake and I left out some things I wanted to say but in the end, one girl gave her life to Jesus Christ and I was awestruck at that.  One soul was saved and the angels in heaven rejoiced.. what else can I want?  I was so happy.

They asked me back again and this time, I thought well surely I need to bring them a prophetic word or something wise to say.. It was 10 minutes before I had to leave the house and meet with the group, I asked the Lord what do you want me to say Lord?

I was thinking something elaborate with verses and stuff.  This is what He said for me to tell the youth...

Tell them I love them.

That was it.  Nothing else.  Very simple and clear, He wanted and wants young people to know that He loves them. I could feel the power of those words as I shared them with the group.  How many people have no idea that anybody loves them, much less God.  Most of the time we find ourselves thinking God is angry with us but its not true. He wants to draw us in and show us kindness.  He waits for us to call on Him, even when we're broken, dirty and feeling like we are beyond repair.

He loves us.. Call on Him.

For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16  amp

Why are you talking to him?

"Why are you talking to him?"

That's what the crowd asked themselves when they saw Jesus talking to Zacchaeus.  He was a chief tax collector, who was known for taking extra money from the people and had become very rich from it.  He wasn't liked and was known as a "stealing" sinner.  The people whispered among themselves in disbelief that Jesus would not only talk to Zacchaeus but that he would also want to go to his house!

Let's look at the story a bit closer..

19 Jesus entered Jericho and made his way through the town. 2 There was a man there named Zacchaeus. He was the chief tax collector in the region, and he had become very rich. 3 He tried to get a look at Jesus, but he was too short to see over the crowd. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree beside the road, for Jesus was going to pass that way.

5 When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. “Zacchaeus!” he said. “Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.”

6 Zacchaeus quickly climbed down and took Jesus to his house in great excitement and joy. 7 But the people were displeased. “He has gone to be the guest of a notorious sinner,” they grumbled.

8 Meanwhile, Zacchaeus stood before the Lord and said, “I will give half my wealth to the poor, Lord, and if I have cheated people on their taxes, I will give them back four times as much!”

9 Jesus responded, “Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a true son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man[a] came to seek and save those who are lost.”

We note that Zacchaeus ran ahead of the crowd and climbed a tree just to get a peek at Jesus.  He went above and beyond to get a glimpse of the son of God.  What was Zacchaeus thinking?  Did he just want to see Jesus?  or did he have something else in his heart?  did he have hope of something better?  did he have hope of no longer being that old person he was if Jesus noticed him?

Jesus already knew Zacchaeus by name.  He knew who he was talking to and whose house he was going to.  He wasn't afraid of the known sinner, he saw beyond what everyone else saw.  He knew there was more to Zacchaeus.  He knew he needed a chance to turn his life around.  Jesus had mercy on him no matter what the others said or what Zacchaeus had done or was known for.  Jesus gave Zacchaeus HOPE.  He gave him a chance at a new life and a new start, regardless of what people said about him or thought of him.

Jesus made Zacchaeus NEW.  He still looking for people just like Zacchaeus.  Do you think your past or current life keeps you from Jesus approaching you?

He knows you by name and He calls out to you to come to HIM and be made NEW.   Right now, wherever you are..... He calls you.
