My vision is to give hope to those who silently struggle with unwanted same sex attraction and/or social anxiety and cannot speak up for themselves. I want to give them hope that there is victory for them when they put their trust and faith in Jesus Christ. Not religion, but the true living Jesus full of power. Some cannot speak up about their battles for whatever reason or are afraid to. I aim to encourage and build them up with testimony and truths from God's word. The Gospel is not a matter of talk but of power. Supernatural power is available through Jesus Christ to transform anyone into a new creation, I am a witness of this and want to help others as much as I can.

I want to tell you about a man named Paul. He was a religious man but one that persecuted Christians. He would approve to their stoning, hunted them down, put them in prison and would even cause them to be killed. Paul was on a mission, to destroy Christianity.
Then one day as he was riding to track down some Christians, he had an encounter with Jesus Christ. This encounter changed him completely and he became a follower of Jesus. How does a murderer become a Christian so devout to Jesus, the one he hated before. When you have an encounter with Jesus, everything changes. Paul got a glimpse of Heaven. He says I have no idea what happened if I was in my body or out of my body but I saw stuff!! When you encounter God and realize that Jesus is alive and everything He said and is written about Him is the truth. It changes you radically.
Paul began to share the Gospel and get people saved everywhere. However, Paul had a problem still. He spoke about having a thorn that wouldn't leave him and caused him trouble. This is what 2 corinthians says:
This boasting will do no good, but I must go on. I will reluctantly tell about visions and revelations from the Lord. 2 I[a] was caught up to the third heaven fourteen years ago. Whether I was in my body or out of my body, I don’t know—only God knows. 3 Yes, only God knows whether I was in my body or outside my body. But I do know 4 that I was caught up[b] to paradise and heard things so astounding that they cannot be expressed in words, things no human is allowed to tell.
5 That experience is worth boasting about, but I’m not going to do it. I will boast only about my weaknesses. 6 If I wanted to boast, I would be no fool in doing so, because I would be telling the truth. But I won’t do it, because I don’t want anyone to give me credit beyond what they can see in my life or hear in my message, 7 even though I have received such wonderful revelations from God. So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud.
8 Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. 9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
He says i'll just boast in my weakness so that the power of Christ can work through him. He had pleaded with God to take his "thorn in the flesh" away 3 times but God did not, instead God said, "my grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in weakness...."
How many times have you pleaded with God to take something away? I know that I pleaded many times for God to take away same sex attraction but it wasn't happening. I pleaded for God to instantly take away and heal me of social anxiety but it wasn't happening either...
I've found out in my life through my own experience that because of those struggles, I have depended more on God and drawn closer to Him. I've depended for His strength and His grace. I have felt just as Paul when He pleaded but was content to deal with that thorn because of what He was receiving from God in spite of the struggle... revelation. The supernatural power of God has been at work in my life from the beginning of my salvation 14 years ago. I have seen amazing things that are outside of this earthly realm that we see daily and I too can see that these struggles remind us as it did to Paul, to stay humble in those revelations.
Sometimes, the struggle is for our own good. How can I say that?!!!
Because some of my most difficult moments have caused me to be on my knees before God and in those moments, I have gotten a glimpse of His power and the true reality of His existence.
Weakness is an opportunity for God to show us mighty things, supernatural things that only He can reveal.
Do you know that the men that God chose to reveal His Kingdom to were plain uneducated fishermen? They weren't of great knowledge or scholars, priests or men of high regard, they were simple fishermen. They were men who had no education and smelled of fish. Women in the times of Jesus were held in little regard nor had rights as today but when Jesus resurrected from the dead, He chose to reveal this miracle to a woman first. Jesus chose touch and heal a leper who society shunned and ran from. He didn't belittle children, in fact, He told his disciples that we are to have faith as little children and that the Kingdom belonged to such.
God uses the weak and broken. If you are weak and broken, He can and wants to use you for His Kingdom! He wants to use you powerfully as He used Paul and show you secret things. I want you to see.. God has an amazing role for you in these latter days. You, the broken ones have a special destiny. He wants to use you in your brokenness and weakness to carry something so precious, His power and grace.
Do you have a thorn in your flesh? Stand firm. Persevere. Endure until the end. These are the last days we are living in and our personal battles will not be easy but in any war, you must stand firm, persevere and endure until the end. The good news is this, Jesus has already won the war, we are just moving forward and waiting on the calvary to show up and take us to our Victorious King and Kingdom. Don't focus on that thorn, focus on the Kingdom of God and His amazing revelations.
